Ninnette is a Credentialled Diabetes Education Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience working in the Diabetes Education Field. She has worked in both public hospitals and the private sector, having managed Diabetes Education Departments for St Vincent’s Hospital and Cabrini Hospital.

Ninnette has presented at National Diabetes Conferences with a focus on nursing staff education, and self-management for patients with Type 1 diabetes. She has written curriculum for undergraduate Diabetes Education Courses and worked as a lecturer for undergraduate trainees.

Ninnette is a certified insulin pump trainer for all currently available pumps in Australia and has a special interest in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and diabetes technology.
