Sue has been a Diabetes Educator for more than 30 years, working in both the public and private sector. She was the Diabetes Education Manager at Alfred Health for 12 years, and prior to that, the Lead Diabetes Educator at Monash Health.

She is a past secretary of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and a member of the Deakin University Diabetes Education Advisory. Sue has presented nationally and internationally on diabetes in pregnancy and steroid induced diabetes.

Sue is a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer with expertise in all forms of Continuous Glucose Monitoring. She has a particular interest in management of Type 1 Diabetes utilising technological advances in pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring, and optimising pregnancy outcomes for women with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus.
